Gina-BSilkwork, Passementerie & Costume Accessories

Buttons

In our past, buttons were not soley functional. They were highly decorative and an integral part of a garment, not hidden or overlooked as they tend to be today.

Gina can make a wide variety of buttons using original techniques, including the more 'famous' leek and dorset buttons.

Hand worked buttons add a finishing touch which is completely unique, whether for historically accurate costume and trim, or for adding that something extra to a modern design.
