Leather frame purse

This purse was created for Luton Museums. The leather is a fine leather from Todd's Stuff (who specialises in unusual materials for re-enactment), whilst the bar is from Medieval Designs in Italy.

The purse is lined in silk, while the little silk tassels at the bottom are made of hand dyed silk and have gilt turks' head knots.
