Dress passementerie

Decorative elements to be added to clothing was at a height during the Victorian period.

Using hand-dyed silk and traditional techniques, this decorative piece of passementerie was inspired by the decoration shown in the V&A's 19th Century Dress in Detail book.

All of the gimp used in the project has been hand-wound.
