Silk and old gold frogging

roll your mouse over the thumbnails to see an enlarged image.

This set of frogging was made for a wedding dress coat.

Only one of the large frogs actually functions as a closure, while the rest are decorative elements.

The frogs were made of hand-twisted silk and gilt cords, the gilt thread used is from an antique batch, which gives the 'old-gold' colouring.
