Sash tassels

roll your mouse over the thumbnails to see an enlarged image.

These silk tassels are reproductions of existing tassels, created to hang from a sash for the Langhom Riding in Scotland.

Four tassels hang from each sash - one of each colour. Each tassel is made of silk with a wooden mould using traditional passementerie techniques.

The moulds were turned by Scottish Fibres
