I will be presenting a paper at the Congress in the DISTAFF session "Decoration and Disguise". It is session 301 on Monday 13th July at 16.30. I will also be running a FLB workshop on the Tuesday evening.

Site member Kay Lacey is also presenting a paper this year. Entitled The 'Irish Mantle' in the Middle Ages, her paper is in session 726 on Tuesday 14th at 14.15.

Quick update on the Congress.
Unfortunately Kay has had to pull out of her paper because of an injury.
In addition to my paper and workshop, Soper Lane will be having a stand at the Historical Societies fair on the Wednesday afternoon.
If any site member or visitor is going to be there, do come along on Wednesday to say "hi", or get in touch through the site in advance.

Hello from the IMC!
Good to see those who stopped by at our stand at the Societies Fair this afternoon. The session in which I presented my paper on Monday went very well and so did yesterday evening's workshop - which was also great fun!
It is good to catch up with old friends and contacts as well as to meet new people.
